Michael McIntyre making 2 series for BBC
Michael McIntyre, the well known Brit comedian, has committed to working with BBC One in a long-term basis.
A brand new deal will see him make 2 series for BBC's flagship channel next year. The comedian has teamed up with new production company named Hungry Bear Media to create a 2nd outfit called Hungry McBear that would oversee both series as well as all of Michael McIntyre's future TV programs.
According to reports, Trade magazine Broadcast said that Hungry McBear has been handed carte blanche to exhibit the comedian's talents. Hungry Bear was the firm behind his high-rating Christmas Day special last year, Michael McIntyre's Very Christmassy Christmas Show.
The next television project of the comedian is another one-off special - Michael McIntyre's Easter Night At The Coliseum.
All set to be recorded on 29th March, Sunday, at the London Coliseum, with guests including Eddie Izzard and Bill Bailey. The program will also have few of the world's top music artists, unique performers, speciality acts and fellow comedians.
Speaking about the show, Michael told that when he the BBC were making a show called Michael McIntyre's Easter Night At The Coliseum, he knew he had to be involved. The London Coliseum is a really magnificent theatre and he would be hosting an array of talent befitting this magnificent venue. This will be a true variety show for all the family to enjoy. He just could not wait for the show.
