British comedian Michael McIntyre set to perform at Waterside in May
Micheal McIntyre, one of the most well known comedy artists in the United Kingdom, is all set to perform at the Waterside Theatre in the following month. Michael, who is quite used to performing in front of huge crowds, is now set to come to Aylesbury on 19th May, Tuesday, as part of the warm-up for his 2015 Happy and Glorious UK tour.
The date was just confirmed yesterday. Therefore the event is not listed in the Waterside’s summer brochure – and even his very own website does not disclose the date.
According to reports tickets for the event will go on sale to the general public at 10 am on Monday, even though the members of ATG will get first pickings an hour earlier.
A spokesperson for the Waterside said that they are expecting them to sell out very quickly. It is obviously fantastic for them and they know Aylesbury loves its comedy – Tim Vine’s show tomorrow has sold out.
McIntyre’s grand break came in 2006at the Royal Variety Performance. His debut DVD named Live and Laughing was the fastest selling DVDs of all time, just to be overshadowed by his 2nd DVD Hello Wembley, which sold more than 1.4 million units and it was the Christmas No 1 in 2009.
At present, Michael hosts his very own BAFTA nominated BBC 1 series named Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow. Earlier, he was a judge on Britain’s Got Talent, the hit ITV1 show in 2011.
